2. Data controller

Merchants who run a store are often separate controllers for their own customers' data (e.g. order and delivery details). This Policy describes our role as platform provider; merchants should provide their own privacy notice to their customers.

3. Data we collect

• Merchant account data: e.g. name, email, profile information from Facebook login, store settings, product and order data you enter, and technical logs.
• Store customer data: e.g. if a shopper signs in to a store with email or Facebook, we may process identifiers, name, avatar, and related profile or order information as instructed by the merchant and as needed to provide checkout and account features.
• Usage and technical data: e.g. IP address, device/browser type, timestamps, cookies or similar technologies where used, and security logs.

4. How we use data

• To provide, secure, and improve the Service.

9. International transfers

Data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses).

10. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, or port your data, and to withdraw consent. Merchants can delete their Max-Vente account from Shop settings. Store customers can delete their store profile where the product offers that control (e.g. from the storefront account options).

To exercise rights against us as platform operator, contact us using the details on our website. For data controlled primarily by a merchant, contact that merchant directly.

11. Children

The Service is not directed at children under the age where parental consent is required for data processing in your region. We do not knowingly collect such data for those purposes.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy. We will post the new version here and update the "last updated" indication when we do.
